EPoC可克服傳統類比CCTV升級到數位IP監控的距離問題、並可實現Fast Ethernet傳輸、支援長達1,200米的RG6同軸電纜。您不再需要更換傳統的RG59/RG6同軸電纜。此外，EPoC的室外應用是光纖之外一個強固且實惠的選擇。而且對於遠端的IP攝影機而言，PoC也比光纖來得便利許多。
The EPoC is designed to overcome the distance limitations of legacy CCTV when upgrading to IP installations. It enables Fast Ethernet and PoE transmission over RG6 coaxial cables, extending the range up to 1,200m. No more need to replace legacy RG59/RG6 coaxial cables. Also, for remote PoE IP cameras, PoC offers greater convenience than optical fiber does.
