Campus Emergency Callbox System in Central Taichung

Cooperation Project between ADI Communications and its Local Distributor

With 12,000 students and 17 tall buildings on a campus of 36 acres, inevitably there are some remote corners difficult to be monitored and become a loop hole of campus security net. The university management team have come to conclusion that to upgrade existing security system with Emergency Callbox System designed by ADI Communications Corp. Through the wireless callboxes installed in the stairwells that connect to the rooftop, any possible danger or threat will be monitored and the campus security guard can act accordingly with high efficiency.

With the infrared sensors installed in the stairwell, any motion or intention to go up to the rooftop, will be detected and thus triggered the alarm and callbox. The callbox will send the sginals to the emergency response center to get the security staffs alerted, whom could contact the intruders in the stairwell by callbox, and give proper guidance to leave the spot safely. Furthermore, there are sound and light alarms in both stairwells and the emergency response centers, therefore the intruders will be well aware that this is a forbidden direction, and the security staffs can be informed clearly about the intrusion.
